Welcome to Scribe Quest, developed by Human Quest LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
By using Scribe Quest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our application.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Scribe Quest, subject to these Terms and your subscription plan.
You are responsible for maintaining your account's confidentiality and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to use Scribe Quest in compliance with all applicable laws. Prohibited uses include harassment, unauthorized recording, and illegal activities. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding the recording of conversations, including obtaining necessary consent from all parties before recording any conversation.
While all users can access transcription features, the ability to save and store audio recordings requires explicit authorization and must be specially requested by contacting our team.
By default, all transcription processing occurs locally on your device. Enhanced transcription services using OpenAI Whisper or Google Speech-to-Text are available but disabled by default in the free version of the app. These services can be enabled upon request and may incur additional costs. When enabled, these services process audio data through their respective cloud services to provide improved accuracy and additional language support.
All features and content of Scribe Quest are owned by Human Quest LLC and protected under intellectual property laws.
By using Scribe Quest, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Scribe Quest at any time, with or without notice.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account for any violation of these Terms.
Human Quest LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Scribe Quest.
Scribe Quest is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
