• Transcription Processing: By default, all transcription processing occurs locally on your device for maximum privacy. Enhanced transcription services using OpenAI Whisper or Google Speech-to-Text are available but disabled by default. These services require explicit opt-in and involve sending audio data to 3rd party servers.
• Recording Storage: While transcription is available to all users, the ability to save and store audio recordings requires explicit authorization from our team. When audio storage is authorized, audio files are stored on our servers. Users are solely responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding the recording of conversations, including obtaining necessary consent from all parties.
• Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect (e.g., IP address, access times, and browser type). We rely on third-party providers like Google Analytics for performance monitoring.

Use of Your Information

We use the collected information to provide, enhance, and personalize your experience on Scribe Quest, including:

• Providing transcription and AI analysis services for your recordings.
• Offering features like contact association and grouping notes based on tags.
• Communicating product updates and promotional offers.
